Folklore festival ”La Primavera in Apulia”’ Bari 2027, Italy

Folklore festival in Apulia  gives you the opportunity  to discover amazing historical places Matera and Alberobello with charming trulli date back to the mid-fourteenth century what is the biggest attraction of this region. Also you may visit the Capital of Apulia, Bari and beautiful towns Citta di Ostuni, Locorotondo, Polignano a Mare and Monopoli.  The festival is held in a scenic city of Gravina in Puglia with a parade of participants  from the famous Ponte Acquedotto! Festival is officially organized by Blue Diamond Events in a local  collaboration with  folk dance group La Zjte!

REGULATION

Folklore dancing ensembles, chorus, majorettes, musical bands are invited to participate in this folklore festival which will be held in Gravina in Puglia – Bari.

Every group will perform once and it should prepare a 8-10 minutes program.

Performances with live and recorded music are both allowed.

The age and the maximum number of dancers in the group are not limited.  The minimum number of the group members for accommodatio is 15, including relatives, drivers. Adult, youth and children ensembles are welcome. Soloists are not accepted.

Family members and friends may join this folklore festival  and take the chance to visit Italy and Apulia for the same price.

The accommodation of the ensembles is provided in 3* hotels in triple and quadruple rooms, and it includes 4 nights with breakfast. Double and single rooms are provided with supplement.

Upon request, it is possible to arrange dinner for your group with a supplement.

On your special request we can provide higher categories of the hotels with supplement 20 euro per each day.

The hotel will be assigned to every group based on the requested rooming of all groups. The final program with the logistics, timing and all the details about the hotel in which you will be accommodated will be sent to you 3 weeks before the arrival.

According to your flights there is possibility to prolong your stay in the same hotel. We are able to help you with airport transfers and excursions on your request (it is necessary to contact us to ask for quotation and availability of buses at least 4 months in advance).

Accommodation for 1 person is free of charge if you have more than 25 persons in the group. Accommodation for 2 persons is free of charge if you have more than 42 persons in the group.

How to arrive?

By ferries:

Port of the Bari is reachable from following ports Drac (Albania), Igoumenitsa (Greece), Bar (Montenegro) and Dubrovnik (Croatia).

By plane:

The nearest airports are Bari Airport and Naples Airport.

For groups arriving by plane we will organize guided excursions including bus transfer for each day program (45 euro per person each day, for a group of minimum 25 persons). For group 15-25 persons it will be quoted on request.

PAYMENT

As confirmation of its participation in this folklore festival, a group pays 2000€ in advance and the rest not later than 15 days before the festival by bank transfer.

The advanced payment is non-reimbursable if you later decide not to come, for any reason.

In case of unexpected circumstances or Force Majeure, the organizer reserves the right to change the date of the event or to postpone it for the next year.

PRELIMINARY PROGRAM OF THE FESTIVAL

April 15^th
The groups should arrive to the hotel between 14:00 and 19:00 where they will be welcomed and referred to the program. You may use a part of this day to visit Bari, the capital of the Apulia.

April 16^th
You may visit Matera and Altamura. The evening is dedicated to the festival in Gravina in Puglia. Performances will be held on an open-air stage or in the theatre in case of the bad weather conditions.

April 17^th
This day is free for sightseeing. We suggest visiting  Locorotondo and Alberobello. (for groups arriving by plane we will send offer for guided excursion and price per person)

April 18^th
This day is free for sightseeing. We suggest visiting  Polignano al Mare and Citta Di Ostuni. (for groups arriving by plane we will send offer for guided excursion and price per person)

April 19^th
You should check out after the breakfast.

Notification

 The exact time of the beginning and the ending of the folklore festival will be announced later. Program on the day of the festival must be respected. Groups are required to adjust their bus transport according to the program and are supposed to be present at the awarding ceremony!
