XVIII Folklore festival ”Costa Brava”, Lloret de Mar – Spain 2027

International Folklore festival in ‘‘Costa Brava” Lloret de Mar is verified as the largest folklore festival on the Spanish coast bringing together to 25 – 30 folklore ensembles from all over the world. 

The festival unfolds on a magnificent open-air stage in the very heart of Lloret de Mar. The performances are preceded by a spectacular parade of all participating groups through the vibrant city streets, surrounded by a lively crowd of tourists.

Participants enjoy excellent hotels with swimming pools, delicious cuisine and as well as the beautiful beaches of the Costa Brava. The festival programme also offers exciting excursions to Barcelona, Girona and Montserrat.

REGULATIONS

Folklore dance groups, choirs, majorettes and brass bands are warmly invited to participate in this vibrant international folklore festival in Lloret de Mar, a lively seaside town on the Costa Brava, just a short distance from Barcelona.

Every group will perform once and it should prepare a 8 minutes programme.

Performances with live and music recorded are both allowed.

The age and the maximum number of dancers in the group are not limited. The minimum number of the group members for accommodation is 15 (including dancers, relatives,  accompanists and drivers). Adult, youth and children ensembles are welcome. Soloists are not accepted.

Family members and friends may join this folklore festival  and travel to Spain for the same price.

The accommodation of the groups is provided in 3/4* hotels in Costa Brava – towns Lloret de Mar, Pineda de Mar, Tossa de Mar, Santa Sussana (HOTEL DON ANGEL, HOTEL MARIA DEL MAR ,  TOSSA BEACH CENTER HOTEL, or similar,  in triple and quadruple rooms, and it includes 5 nights with full-board buffet system (breakfast, lunch and dinner). All hotels have a swimming pool.

The hotel will be assigned to every group based on the requested rooming of all groups. The final program with the logistics, timing and all the details about the hotel in which you will be accommodated will be sent to you 2 weeks before the arrival.

According to your flights there is possibility to prolong your stay in the same hotel. We are able to help you with airport transfers and excursions on your request (it is necessary to contact us to ask for quotation and availability of buses at least 4 months in advance).

The nearest airports are: Barcelona and Girona.

Accommodation for 1 person is free of charge if you have more than 26 persons in the group. Accommodation for 2 persons is free of charge if you have more than 52 persons in the group.

• Tourist guide,  accompanying persons, sightseeing, excursions
• Tourist city tax (from 1€ to 3€ per person per day)
• Health insurance
• Supplement for staying in a double room – 8€ per person per day
• Supplement for staying in a single room – 40€ per person per day
• Additional day –  58€ (full board included)

PAYMENT

As confirmation of its participation in this folklore festival, a group pays 2000€ in advance and the rest not later than 15 days before the festival by bank transfer.

This deposit is non-reimbursable if you later decide not to come, for any reason. In case of unexpected circumstances or Force Majeure, the organizer reserves the right to change the date of the event or to postpone it for the next year.

JULY 4^th
The groups should arrive to the hotel between 14:00 and 19:00 where they will be welcomed and referred to the program.

JULY 5^th
On this day, the international folklore festival “Costa Brava” will take place in Lloret de Mar, featuring an exciting evening performance on an open-air stage. Before the show, all participating groups will join a spectacular parade through the town, creating a vibrant celebration of music, tradition and culture.

JULY 6^th

JULY 7^th
On this day you will have a lot of free time to spend on beach or to visit Barcelona, Montserrat, Andorra, Girona.

On this day you will have a lot of free time to spend on beach or to visit Barcelona, Montserrat, Andorra, Girona.

JULY 9^th
You should leave the hotel after the breakfast.

Notification

 The exact time of the beginning and the ending of the festival will be announced later. Program on the day of the festival must be respected. Groups are required to adjust their bus transport according to the program and are supposed to be present at the awarding ceremony!
